This lesson is useful in aiding the presentation of literary elements as well as the idea of genre and more specifically the horror/mystery genre.  In addition it allows students to take a more non-traditional way of learning and use it to expand their knowledge of literature as well as experience some of the more educational resources that the internet has to offer.  In addition, by exploring a website such as this, students may also get their own ideas for how to create works using the internet, graphic programs, and the like in their lives inside and outside of the classroom.
